Chipper Service and Leaf Disposal
CHIPPER SERVICE will be available to any property owner in the Town of Crescent, free of charge, beginning on June 3rd. There is a limit of 30 minutes per property and all brush must be pointed in one direction at the edge of your property near the town road. Brush must be in position by Monday, June 3rd in order to be chipped by the Crescent Road Crew. There is no need to be placed on a schedule this year, all brush in position by June 3rd will be chipped. IF you live on a County Highway or State Highway in the Town of Crescent please email crescentroadcrew@gmail.com with your address to ensure that your brush is chipped.

LEAF DISPOSAL is available at the old Crescent Dump, 3113 S. River Rd. There will be signs indicating where to place leaves and grass clippings. DO NOT leave boxes or plastic bags at the dump site.

Highway Maintenance Worker

The Town of Crescent is accepting applications for an on-call part-time backup Highway Snowplow Driver. Starting hourly rate of $22.00 to $28.00 based upon experience with no additional benefits offered. This is a seasonal on-call position with no guaranteed hours.

Qualified applicant must have a high-school diploma, Valid Wisconsin Driver's license with Class B, C, D and Air Brake Endorsement; knowledge of snowplowing; good far, near, and night vision, good hearing and perception of sound; ability to work under extreme cold, and wet conditions; ability to work independently; ability to respond to residents' concerns in a respectful appropriate manner.

The Town of Crescent has received updated PFAS testing for the Crescent Spring. The 2022 test results can be viewed here. At this time the Town of Crescent and the Oneida County Health Department continue to recommend NOT drinking the spring water.
