The Town of Crescent Board amended the Wisconsin Uniform Dwelling Code on January 8, 2025. The amendment will be published and take effect on January 17th. The Ordinance can be viewed here

Notice is given that the Town of Crescent is accepting sealed bids for a reconstruction project on Davenport Street. A walk-thru of the project should be scheduled by calling Robb Jensen at 920-602-0561. Bid specifications can be obtained from Tracy Hartman, Town Clerk at 6902 Fire Tower Rd, Rhinelander, WI  or crescentclerk@townofcrescent.com or downloaded 
here.

Sealed bids will be opened during the Town Board meeting on February 19th, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. at the Crescent Town Hall, 3231 Golf Course Road. The Town reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids. Bids may be sent to: Town of Town of Crescent clerk, Tracy Hartman, Clerk, 6902 Fire Tower Road, Rhinelander, WI 54501. Bids must arrive by 5:00 p.m. on February 18th or bids may also be brought to the Crescent Town Board meeting scheduled for February 19th at 6:00 p.m. Bids shall be in a sealed envelope clearly marked "Davenport St".

Highway Maintenance Worker

The Town of Crescent is accepting applications for an on-call part-time backup Highway Snowplow Driver. Starting hourly rate of $22.00 to $28.00 based upon experience with no additional benefits offered. This is a seasonal on-call position with no guaranteed hours.

Qualified applicant must have a high-school diploma, Valid Wisconsin Driver's license with Class B, C, D and Air Brake Endorsement; knowledge of snowplowing; good far, near, and night vision, good hearing and perception of sound; ability to work under extreme cold, and wet conditions; ability to work independently; ability to respond to residents' concerns in a respectful appropriate manner.

At this time the Town of Crescent and the Oneida County Health Department continue to recommend NOT drinking the spring water.
